Anyone use Rice Bran in a Protein Feeder

I've never used rice bran before and was wondering if it would work in a protein feeder.

Will it collect moisture and clog up?

Or

Does anyone have a good idea for a rice bran feeder?

Dont know if it would clog a protein feeder, but I doubt it would. If they like it as much as I hear, the deer will probably keep the opening in the feeder open with heavy use. Do most feed stores carry Rice Bran?

I called one of the feed stores here in Victoria and the didn't carry it. The next one I call had it.

I bought some last weekend and mixed it with my hand corn. Do you guys just pour it out by itself? I had a good 8 come in and go to town on it but he usually does the same to the corn by itself.

When I can find it at feed stores to put it out, I'll put it out by itself. A small dusting of a trail to a pile strategically placed in my shooting lanes behind some small scrub brush or a small cactus to hide their line of sight while munching on it!
