This may have been asked in a different form, but I can't find it, so I'm going to ask myself.
Is there an app for Andriod phones that will allow me to view satelite/aerial imagery similar to Google Earth or Bing Maps? I've used my phone's browser to use the Bing site, but it's just too difficult. The buttons for zoom are too small to use and overall, it's just a pain in the butt.
Second question: What app are you guys using for GPS on your phone? I know google maps is good, and free, and I have it, but it's not what I'm looking for. I don't care much about direcions on the roads, I'm looking for an app that will locate me when I'm in the field, set waypoints etc. I know could buy a standalone GPS like a Garmin, and probably be more precise than the phone, but using the phone just reduces the number of gadgets I carry to the stand in the morning, reduces weight, and is one less thing to forget, and I pretty much never forget the phone.
Thanks for the help guys.
