Camo stencils and homeade paint job pics.....

I need some ideas for my hunting rig paint job and decided to stencil camo it. I found a cool website where the stencil job looks 3d. Also does anyone know how many cans of spray paint it takes to paint a jeep sized truck? Thanks

A lot? I used half a can each of three colors to do a five foot pig pipe. I imagine it would take a couple of cases, and at least a full day

You might check the duck hunting catalogs. I've seen gallon cans of camo paint in them.

Use the gun,, it will not use as much ar take as long as as mentioned above. Just start with the lightest color as your base and go from their. I wish you were closer, Id like to throw some airbrushing to it once finished to bring it alive.

I have a gun just like that one but bigger. I think Im gonna see if wally world can mix paint like stated above. I just need to get a gallon of base and for the stencil part im gonna rattle can it. I decided to rhino line the bottom that flares over the tires and also my high rack once welded up. Also gonna rhino the bumpers. Gonna be a fun project!! Just hope it doesnt take as long as my bowfishin boat! lol

LOL, I understand how that goes. I have airbrushes you can play with as well, just let me know.... My experience on the bumpers and Rhino lining them it didit work very well, of course I didnt drive around many things in my way, I plowed over them and it got ripped and looked like crud within a year. Hust a heads up.

Didnt think about that. I was gonna use my brush guard that i was gonna rhino to push bump gates. Wonder what would be good to paint the bumpers and a chrome brush guard with??

Bumpers I would just paint, you can touch up as needed, chrome guard will need to be HEAVILY sanded or blasted to get paint to stick to it. Im all about cheap yet effective methods on my hunting rigs, I did Rhino the the interior and installed floor drains and about to do the same thing on my current project....
