Cool. I hunt just south of Seneca near a town called Corning. My in-laws have land there. Talked to my BIL lastnight and they have begun the rut! Neighbor harvested a nice 170+. Come on Tuesday (11/23)!!!!!
Tuttle Creek isn't too far. You are close to Manhattan which is about 45-1 hr SOuth West of me. Good luck!

Oh yeah...make sure y'all go to the Corning bar. Things get crazy in there on Friday and Saturday nights!
Good luck to both of you!

[QUOTE=sansaba;3125433]It's in Riley Co. Y'all staying in Manhattan? Let me know if y'all need anything. I have a brother and TONS of friends there in Manhattan.
We are staying at the state park at Tuttle Creek. $445.00 for 7 days for a cabin that sleeps 6 with full kitichen. Our first Kansas hunt. Thanks for the offer if your brother knows where the deer are that would be great!!

Good luck! Better take your blankets! You need to go to Little Apple Brewery on the west side of Manhattan. Awesome beer and great steaks!

Last week, about 60 miles south of KC, close to La Cyne, we had bucks locked down with does. The small guys were hanging close and getting run off. We did see groups of up to 6 does together and also some yearlings by themselves, as if momma had come into heat and ran them off. I would use a doe decoy and hunt the food.
Good luck and be safe.

Last week in Central Kansas was really slow with the crystal clear blue skies and warm temperatures. However that rain and cold hit Friday and the bucks were pushing Saturday. Of course I picked the wrong stand on the last hunt. I will be back up there with you Friday and the bucks should be running around hopefully.
