My New Pit - Ag Shop built!!

I just bought myself a great new smoker pit for the house- built by the kids in our local HS Ag Program! Only paid $350 for it and they sell the exact same pit in Uvalde for almost $800!! AND my money went to support the Ag Program my daughter and all her friends are in!!

Been wanting one like this for a long time but they're always too much money and I never get around to building one for myself. Just thought I'd share!

Here's another pic. Tapatalk only let's me add on picture per post.

The welds may not be really pretty, lol, but they're solid!! I think I need to work with our little girl on rod control and angle! Lol!

Wow...what is the size? It looks a little small, but what do I know.

I'm sure they would. They're working on a big trailer pit right now that they're going to rent out here in town to make money for the Ag Program. You can call the Sabinal HS and ask for the Ag Teacher - his name is Charlie Black

I don't want this thread to turn into a classified ad - I was just sharing.

It's big enough to cook 2 decent briskets on- that's all I need for the house. I'm sure no expert but it's the same dimensions as a lot of the ones they sell at Oasis Outback.
