    Waders that leak--%$@#^*&#%@

Why is it we can put a man on the moon over forty (40) years ago, but a company can't design and build a wader that does not leak. It's really a simple thing -- it's just a very long boot. There are boot companies that build very good boots that withstand the rigors of hunting, but wader companies seem particularly inept at making a quality wader that does not leak. I went duck hunting this morning in a brand new pair of waders . . . and they leaked. Last year I bought the best wader Cabela's had to offer -- their $300 Millenium wader. I returned 3 pair because they ALL leaked. Standing in flooded timber in a leaky wader is quite possibly the worst thing a hunter can go through besides standing in flooded timber with a leaky wader in Kansas in January which is what happened to me last year. It ruined my trip! It's the worst! If anyone has any calming words for me, I'd be happy to hear them. And a recommendation for a good wader. Thanks. %$#@&^@%!$@^$$@%

How bad did they leak? How much water did you dump out?

all waders leak, its only a matter of when, not if. and yes, its infuriating.

but if you arent cold and wet ... you arent duck hunting!

They leaked enough to **** me off and stop hunting. I'm just glad it wasn't real cold yet. But yes, if you're not cold and wet . . . you're not duck hunting.

I'm a fan of these. Fished in the bay in cold temps and stayed comfortably warm and dry.

And hey! I know you have a pic you can upload for your avatar.
