As most of ya'll probably already know our own Greg Goodrich (Txjourneyman) killed an illegal buck at Hagerman last weekend. The whole thing became very public on TBH and I applaud Greg for facing the music and taking a lot of heat for his error. But more importanly I admire him for the ethics and honesty he exibited by tagging the deer and turning himself in.
Anyway, Greg agreed to come on the air in morning and discuss the entire situation in great detail. Remember, this deer was the largest buck Greg had ever taken. He discusses the excitement of the hunt and how thrilled he was to harvest that deer only to be heartbroken when he finally laid his hands on him and he realized that the deer wouldn't make the 13 inch inside spread requirement.
Just thought some of ya'll may want to listen to Greg shed some light on the incident firsthand.
