New hunting area, need help with aerial map

I have a new hunting area for this year, but it is vastly different than what I am used to hunting. Anyone who has hunted the panhandle can probably give some great insight but I'll take suggestions from anyone willing to give advice.

I hope these pictures will be readable.

If anyone can give me some advice on how to get a better picture on the screen let me know. I'm just copying and pasting into Paint.

    Mike-
Looks like that area is in Quail, Texas. There are some monsters in that area.
Your in the the best area in the Panhandle. Hope to see some LDPs

Here is the link to Google Earth of that area. I am SE of Childress for the first time this year. Area is completely different that I am use to as well. Good luck.

From the harvest pics, trailcam pics and skulls that I have seen so far, I sure hope so. It is SW of Quail between Quail & Memphis.

Jason, I think that place you got on is a place we were talking to a guy about. Good luck to y'all too.

Harvey, what is that a map of?

If you try mytopo.com, you can get the aerial pictures with the UTM grid overlayed if you need to use a GPS there, plus they'll laminate them. Costs more than printing it out from google or live.com, but really nice maps.

I'd be looking seriously at the NE corner depending on what the ranch to the NE plants in those fields.

Bill, yeah, I plan on a map from Mytopo.

Ben, yeah, see those three "untitled placemarks along that big draw? Those are three definite possibilities. the one in the middle is probably a done deal because that draw fingers off almost all the way to the fields. From what I'm being told, the deer tend to travel on the side hills or bottoms of the draws.
