We have place called Taco Mac in Atlanta. It's one of those places that has like 100 different beers on tap and another 200 bottle types. They had one from Breckinridge, CO called Pandora's Bock that was awesome. I'm a huge fan of Shiner beers and this one was like the Commerotevo but stronger.

Ran thru a period when all I drank was micro brews or what I made myself. When we moved, I found my beer collection ... Bout 200 different empties. My favorite, bar none, was Castlemain *** from Australia. Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager was great, anythin from Sam Adam's or Sam Smith's was always good. Every Christmas, I drink a bottle of Chimay Blue Label (bout th only thing th french dd right!) Very partial to a pint or 4 of Guinne when it's cold outside. Sippin a Newcastle now. Love th real Trappist Ales also.
Would love to join a brew club round these parts. Sounds like an awesome deal!

So, how does one go about developing a taste for beer, not that I need to! I've tried several and they almost gag me.

When I was 21 I didnt really care for the taste of beer but, as I got a little older I really began to enjoy a good beer. Now, that I'm 36 I dont drink much beer unless I go out of texas,I do like to try local beers and most Belgium beers.

I am a shiner and lone star fan myself, but if I want to spend a little I get trios pistoles, it's Belgian, little higher alc content but tastes awesome, it's a stout.

A buddy of mine owns Freetail Brewing Company here in SA. Awesome micro brews, and if you EVER get a chance, you have to do yourself a favor and try his La Muerta. Only brewed in the fall around Halloween, but it's more than worth the wait. Also, If you like Guiness, I tried for the first time over the break a really nice brew (not a Freetail micro brew) called Double Chocolate. REALLY smooth and full bodied. Me likey.

I homebrew, so I always have good beer on hand. However, I do fancy Samuel Smith's RIS, and Paulaner's Salvator. Salvator is the reason why nearly all other doppelbocks are named _____ator, as a tribute to the best...

When I work outta state I try n pick up some Yuengling on the way home. Nothing exotic, but I like it and its only sold on the E coast. It has worked its way to TN though so were getting closer!

                                Americas oldest brewery BTW...
