All day in a climbing tree stand

We'll since the chance to hunt my Mon. Morn off was busted, I was thinking about spending my entire day off, Thursday, in my stand. Yes, don't have a heartattack, but somehow w/ four jobs I scored and entire day off. It surprised me too.

N-E-Ways. In the past I've used a blind. So I could quietly eat, read, and stand up and stretch w/o any problems. Now I'll be up a tree, which in some cases will be better b/c I can see if anythings coming but there will also be repurcussions. I'm thinking about bring a couple of PB & J sandwitches, two bottles of water, and a paperback. What other things can I do to make that LONG sit a little easier to bear?

I used a back pack with a hydration bladder this weekend that has a tube that you bite the end and suck the water through. Worked great, I wish I had gotten one sooner.

Got a nice camo one at wal-mart 3 trs ago for $40. Been using it all this time and did not know it had a place for one. You can grt the bladder seperatly for $10 in the camping dept. You can tell if the back pack is set up for it because it will have about a 1" slit under the handle. Camelbak is a product that makes them also, but as far as I know, they don't make a camo one and the cheapest one I found is expensive.

go to Academy. It's called a camelback. well, that's the name brand. they make all sizes.
I don't know how that PB&J will work with your scent control methods.
              good luck though.

Apples are a good stand snack, if you cac keep the crunch to a minimun. I threw out some apple-scented corn this weekend and the deer loved it.

I like Snickers and a good paperback or a handheld video game if you can turn off the sound.
