The players probably threw a fit when they saw "full pads" on the days schedule!!!

What's so serious? They're one of the worst teams in football and have a new coach needing to send a message. Players throwing a fit about practicing in full pads still aint gonna win football games....

Even with LT and 10-0 at TCU we still had 2 practices in full pads a week...at least!!! It kept us in check!!! Yeah yeah, this is the NFL, but looking back, these dude's ain't no older than I was back then!!! Think about it...lots of these players are young...keep their butts serious.

Anybody that has played football knows that when you practice in full pads that it turns up the intensity up. I think he was sending a message to his team and it was the right message to send.

Amen Heath!!! I could write a book on this subject playing 5 years of college ball at TCU...

Anyone who questions the fact of picking up the intensity...which is a creature of habit...is not seeing it at all!!!

Wade was soft on the players so in turn they were not focused. Bill Parcels was a hard ***. I knew this would eventually happen to the cowboys when wade was hired. The pendulum swung to far over to the soft side. It is ok to get a guy in the middle jerry.

What's so B to the S???? Should I have said they're one of the best teams in football and have an old coach not trying to send a message? Players throwing a fit in practice will win you football games?

Maybe dancing around the practice field will translate into playing better on Sundays.... They've got nowhere to go but up from here, don't think their season can get much worse....... It all maybe serious to diehard Dallas fans but to many folks is not so serious...I fall into the "not so serious" category.

I do hope they improve drastically since they always seem to be playing in the Sunday night games/Monday night games which are the few I get to watch and frankly, I'm tired of seeing them get stomped.

I just think you should practice how you intend to play. When you get soft in practice, you get soft when it comes to game day.

                      Just sayin...

Edit: And to hear that they had their first full pad practice today??? WTH!!!! 1 win??? Gary Patterson, or most coaches would grab you by the throat and whip your butt at the same time if you were 1-3-4-5-6-7!!!!

If these boys can't, they need to be shown the door.

Sounds like he is going back to the Jimmy J way. Heard Novacek talk about their weekly routine and players were not very fond of it, but sure did believe in it.
