    Geologist in need..

My wife and I relocated to Houston at the beginning of the year because of my current job. I am a Mud logger and am constantly gone for weeks on end. We just found out my wife is pregnant with our first, so naturally, I want to be home. I am curious to see if any of ya'll know of anybody in the NW Houston area who is hiring aspiring geologists? I have my B.S. and am looking to pursue and M.S. in the spring at UH. I appreaciate any help ya'll can throw my way.

I know in the I-10/Park Row area there are a few Geological companies. I don't know names but you could drive over there and drive the Park 10/Park Row business area to get company info.

USGS always needs geologists . like every other gov't position, may end up relocating once or twice, but worth a shot.

Probably will need a MS/MA in hand before getting a permanent job with the USGS or any of the oil companies.
