Me and my better half were hunting out of a stand..that sits next to a creek.......This creek runs into the Trinity..not far from our stand.......Yes thats an otter........It was a small fella.....We saw a bigger one last year.........The wood ducks fly right past us..I could spit on em....lol.....These are some of the pics my wife took........She was'nt too steady on the tripod........U never know what yer gonna see........She shot this buck as a management eight..the next day........

You know, right, that if you have a duck stamp and a migratory endorsement on your hunting license, you can shoot wood ducks with a bow during duck season?

I had to make sure you were not hunting at our lease! I had Mexican Whistlers (ducks) at my blind this weekend and my nephew had a huge otter come into his area. Deer, turkeys and hogs were also seen, but no animals were harmed.

Pretty darn cool to see an otter! Congrats on an interesting weekend and thanks for sharing!
