If you get some TC pics, I hope you'll share them with us. This is a very informative thread.

That is almost always the way the deer came from to make the scrape and that's the way he will come from the next time he scrapes. Remember that when settin up your stand.
Never seen this be the case, they will usually come in from the downwind side. I think you are thinking of rubs on trees.

This. And if that thing is really 3' wide it should be a honey hole!

It was a big scape...very hard to miss. It is pretty sandy back there, so that could play a role in the size I guess. Setting up a cam today and maybe slip a tripod back there. Lord knows I don't need my tripod sitting by the corn feeder right now!!!

I have no idea how I missed this Shane! My bad bro. I've always wondered about the scrape hunting also. Ol boy told me one time to hang one of those drip bags over a big scrape to keep it "active". Makes sense now. Looks like your whiz worked too!!!! Good luck amigo!!!!

P.S., you need to pole axe that yote!

If ya find another scrape on your property away from this general area take some of the dirt out of that one and put it in the other. It will get them really fired up.

I have a TC mounted near a scrape and will be going back on Friday to hunt through Thanksgiving. Hopefully I will have some good pics to share. A/some bucks started the scrape and I empty my P bottle every time I walk by it.
