i got the sr9 right when it came out..i love it. im so surprised with the accuracy of them..i can easily hit sparrows with it at 10 yards. Love the ruger sr series and i recommend them..

and if the 9mm shoots good i dont see why the 40 wouldnt..plus its one of the most comfortable handguns i've ever held..sights line up easy..

My son has the sr9c and really likes it. He was looking for a 40 but went with the 9. I look for him to get a sr40 if they come out with a compact version.
