anyone with me on this one?

sometimes i wonder if the deer that can't be shot know that they can't be shot, so what they do is they walk in front of you, eat, and hang around for a while. anybody with me on this one?

SURE ... They know it !! And what's more frustrating is that they give you perfect broadside shots almost the whole time. Then, to add insult to injury, they call their buddies, the dorky forkies to join them.

I agree. We had one on the lease last year that would come in and be a total "feeder hog". He was only 15 yards from the blind and my son says to me "Mom, can I watch a different movie?" So I change the dvd. He didn't even flinch. Do you have any idea how much noise those things make? We nicknamed this deer "Stupid".

On a side note....we haven't seen him this year.

They know when they get mature there will be an arrow pointed in their direction. Until then they will enjoy a free meal.

I swear that they will even smile at you, maybe even snicker a bit. They definately know when they get a pass.
