On my previous thread I had said that it took my a while to post about my getting married and part of the reason was because as soon as my wife and I returned from our honeymoon, we started looking at houses.
The apartment that we were living in was a horrible place, really loud neighbors, slob neighbors as well as the fact that we would pay our rent and then the apartment managers would either not credit our apartment or they would make a filing error and then send us an eviction notice.
They would always apologize after I came in there and explained how incompetent they were but enough was enough.
We looked around and ended up finding a house out in Saginaw that reminded us both of the type of neighborhood that we grew up in and the offer was accepted. So now I have gotten married for the first time and have my first home.
We moved in back on June 6th and man, I didnt know we had so much stuff till we actually started moving everything, then two weeks ago my wife wakes me up (am working the night shift now) and lets me know that we will be having a little one coming next year (due date is Feb. 28th)
This has been a year of firsts for me, first (and only) time getting married, first stepson (loves fishing and hunting), first house and now first baby.
Probably kiss most of my hunting goodbye this year but well worth it.
Kevin
