I saw a bobcat the other day, walked right past me at 10 yds. It was near dark and after he got on down the road a ways a down tree limb or something made what looked like a tail appear. I know they dont exist around here, but it made me go "Huh, so thats why people say they saw a panther", it sure did look like one.

I've never seen them, have two cameras out and never got a pic. Considering the type of guy that puts his box stand and two feeders within a hundred yards o my ladder stand and feeder, I'm not apt to believe him. I'm just curious because I've never run into this and don't want to end up shooting one to get a fine or something.

They are legal to shoot the problem is there hasn't been a confirmed sighting of one.
