looking for a good gunsmith (tomball)

got my rifle back and the trigger was lightened...still not happy with it although i have no complaint about the smith. he said he did his best and i cant expect perfection without putting in a new trigger, but its still heavy with creep ... he just doesnt have the experiience im looking for and was honest enough to say it and ill end up putting in a jewell or timney.... next thing is bed and float, i visited mg arms in spring and the shop really impressed me as well as the owner after chattign with him for a few minutes as he walked me around his shop. anyone else i should go check out before dropping off my rifle, ..also timney or jewell trigger? or does it even matter?

My buddy has all his work done by MG(Match Grade)....... does really nice work. His Dad has been using him for forever. I have only shot rifles he has worked on and I give a big thumbs up. I am taking a Old Winchester to him to install a new blade sight. I hope this helps

Pete at Precission Barrel Work in Hempstead (if you are willing to make the drive). He is VERY good, fast, and honest. I only take my bolt guns to him when I need something done.

Another satisfied customer of Pete here. He's a friend of mine and does any gun work I need. Very reasonable and high quality work.

Give Spectre FireArms a call and ask to talk to Sid or Jack. Tell them that Shawn Krahe told you to call him and he will get you taken care of. He is right on Spring Cypress and 249. 281-257-2245.
