These two women were speaking Spanish????? I've honestly never seen Hispanic Muslims before? Hmmmm.....interesting.

Just to be clear, I'm not making some kind of political statement, this is just a first for me. Wondering if anyone else has seen this?

And that was probably near Sugar Land/Richmond wasn't it? You should never be surprised at what you see in that area any more.

Are you sure they are Muslim? They could be very traditional Catholic. Head gear does not always mean Muslim.

Prior to Vatican II in the early 80's, Catholic women were required to to wear head coverings or veils to Church. It was a sign of reverence. Many of the older Catholic women still wear them. Head coverings or veils are still a requirement when meeting the Pope. They are also still wore at a Traditional Latin Mass. I found that out the hard way.

Did you happen to take the pic on Tuesday? November 2nd is All Souls Day when Catholics pray for the souls of family and friends that have passed away. Mass is held at Church, but there are also services held at cemeteries.
