Man, that was just fun to read and really enjoyed the photos. I had a big smile just reading the story. It brought back many memories of time spent with my dad as a youngster and the similar feeling of getting that first deer on the ground. Its great to see that there are still some fathers in the world who still love, care for, and nurture their kids only in the way a dad can. Great job and congrats to Peanut!!!!!!

Great write up, I can't wait for my 3yo to get a little bigger and be able to sit still long enough to take to the blind. Have tried sitting on the edge of fields and he just won't sit still yet.

Peanut's had some great "one liners" over the years.......but the phone call I got from him after the kill will be a great memory for years to come. After seeing the caller ID, I answered the call

Me: Hey Mike.
Peanut: It's not Mike, it's me Peanut!
Me: Hey buddy, what's up.
Peanut: I shot my very first buck and he is a trophy 10 pointer and dad says he is very old with no teeth and I shot him right through the heart and he has blue eyes just like my little brother!

Priceless!
