well my light bulb lit up...thats cool and a great idea. just so happens our old tree is still in the attic

Looks good!
I did that 3-4 years ago and the tree limbs still look the same today as they did when I put it up. Really holds up well to the weather.

I have been using this method as well as old garland for pop ups......they last for a long time......

Go to wal mart the day after Christmas, they mark them way down that day.

I was just thinking about how a strand of our lights went out, and I would rather make blind out of our tree than try and figure what is wrong with the bad strand.
