Congrats on the Casa Frank! You are a little ahead of us but we aren't far behind.

Is the fireplace your getting bids on a metal unit or full masonry? We are wanting full masonry and have just learned of some pre-fab units that are very nice but less $$ than a custom built on site masonry.

I havent decided how big the yard is gonna be. Dont know if its gonna be push mower size or nice riding mower size. I still gotta discuss that with Amanda. (I have 10 acres to work with)

On the plus side, I get to buy a new tractor for everything that isnt gonna be yard.

Unless I can find a screaming deal, its going to be metal.
We are doing all of this out of pocket, so the budget is pretty tight. Which makes the deals I'm getting from TBH'rs all the more meaningful!

(Also got pretty good discounts on the framing, plumbing, and electric bids by offering to pay CASH)

If you're coming over here you better have a boat, or be an excellent swimmer.

Wish we had that problem; getting reports of only 1/10" @ our place in Vistula.

Well of course travel expenses have to be figured in, as any out of town job. I travel for the right size job. Sometimes the price works out and sometimes it doesnt. However depending on how far yall are out from cabinets will determine the factor. Im running about 10 weeks out right now.

Ive made my way around the tbh crowd. Im sure someone will chime in and give me a good report

Oh, I forgot to add that this new house is actually going to be more of a rundown, crappy shack.
