Nope, sounds like the classic bait and switch.

Check out Star-S-Ranch dot com and look at their cull hunts. They want at least two parties booked but they don't care how you split it up but two hunts will help them take care of the guides and the lodge for the weekend. This is a guarenteed hunt all you bring is your own food.

1 120" cull and 10 doe guarenteed for $700 more and what is cool is if you want to bring a buddy you can split the cost with him and shoot 5 each and it won't cost you extra only try and get another party to go when you do so they can cover the guides and lodging. Not a bad deal at all if you are after meat.

        Look at the specials

        Just a thought.

Sounds odd, is he doint it for profit? obviously if hes asking to pay a grand, if thats the case why would he give it away for free, whats the deer poppulation like? how long do you have to do it? if hes really just trying to cut numbers on his place hed give you a week or so to do it right? sounds fishy

and its not about being a good shot (lets face it shooting a deer at long range is alot easier than bow hunting( not knoicking it because i do it and love it) the part thats hard is guaranteeing that youll see 2 does and this particular guidelined cull buck in your allotted time, most good places are no kil no pay....ive never heard of if you shoot one its free, only pay if you dont see it

Do you know this guy? All I got is this: Never play (or gamble) on another man's game. He already has it figured to his advantage.
