My parents told me not to go to pepper bellys. besides bbq the only thing is DQ. other than that go to Super S and buy some steaks.

Buy Some BILLs Seasoning at the Corner Grocery Store on the Square its great Stuff BUY THE LARGE the 12.00 one u wont regret it..

And there is a BBQ joint right next to the Super S and Beer Barn Its Good for the money the Ribs are good and the Sausage is okay..
Brady is 41 miles from there and not a bad drive west on 190 and The Hard Eight or Macs is hard to beat...

I have never eaten there but lots of friends said it was really good. I don't really care for San Saba in general. I live in Cherokee and we always go eat in llano.

I hate to admit but Pence speaks the truth about the seasoning. We stopped in there this last summer and I've been there twice since then to restock on the spice.

He's also right on about the food.

There is a Sonic. ha ha. Really isn't much there. Been to the BBQ next to Super S and wasn't impressed. DQ and Sonic seem to be the other two choices.

There aint much in Saba except a really good boot store and some good times to be had at the lease. If you go to the Super S, it's kind of expensive. I aint really seen any restaraunts worth stopping at in the few times i've been to my lease this year (first year out there). But I recken I may try that Pepper Belly's sometime. Best bet is to stop in Lampassas on the way up and eat there.

The best food in town is at the Cactus. It's a wood frame building that's about to fall down going west out of town close to the SuperS. Not much to look at but the best food by far. They keep weird hours, though, so catching 'em open sometimes is a challenge.
