Friday I gound up a bunch of meat and put it in my freezer. I did not shut the door properly and all the meat thawed and was found this morning. It was still very cold and there was no smell but don't know if it is bad. Does it all need to be thrown out?

As I understand it, the ground meat you had just put in was never actually frozen, since you left the freezer door open. And the rest of the meat that was already frozen inside the freezer thawed out. Not sure if that's exactly what happened, but that's the way I'm reading your post.
The meat that has never been frozen, so long as it has been kept cold should be fine. You can go ahead and freeze it.
The meat that was previously frozen and then thawed out can technically be refrozen, but you'll lose quite a bit of quality. However, you can take it out, cook it and then freeze the cooked meat with no problem or reduction in quality. And that's what I would do.
