    Texas Bedding Areas?

All of us have seen the tv shows that have maps of bedding areas and food sources, do you think that applies to south and central Texas? I think the food sources (on non food plot ranches) are varied and dispersed as are the bedding areas.
    Your thoughts?
    Thanks.

I agree! Im sure they have them but it seems to be a little harder to find them.

Yes it applies, it just takes a while to figure out where they are cause we have more cover here than they do up there. It is actually easy for them to figure out cause they have these huge fields with cover around it.

On my uncle's ranch the deer bed down on top of the draws and deep in the draws. This is my number one place to go shed hunting because they spend a lot of time in their bedding area and hence they drop more sheds there than anywhere.

It has taken a few years to figure out the bedding areas because of all the cover in the hill country.

      my 2 cents.

The size of your hunting area will have alot to do with being able to find them. How many folks on here hunt a hundred acres or less? You might not even have bedding areas on your place depending on the size.
