Mtn lions in Palo pinto

I leased a lease late in the season and apparently have a serious cat problem. Have gamecAm pics of a big Tom. And a femAle with cubs. Not counting the 12 coyotes I've seen in the last week who by the way come out at all hours of the day. So I seeing very little deer sign. Walking in and out of my bow stand is very nerve racking and the property is small less than 200 acres. I don't want to predator call so early inthe season and spook deer if there are any but I don't know what to do to many predators have the deer spooked. Any advice

We had problems with a cat last year on our place. Got to the point that a creak in a tree branch spooked the deer. We just took the sacrifice and eliminated the cat during the season. They can do a lot of damage to a deer herd especially on a small property.

We need the pics!!! I'd kill a deer and use the carcass as bait. Sit on it all night with a red light!

That is true, Cats only eat what they kill. They will not scavenge.

It's illegal to hunt over the carcass of a deer??? The parts you are not required to keep BY LAW...? Also, cats only eating what they kill is an old wives tale I think.

I think he meant kill a deer, tag it, clean it, and hut over the gut pile and skeleton of the deer you killed.
I'm pretty sure he wasnt suggesting just shooting a deer and letting it lay as bait.

that is not what he said, he said carcass. Which is the dead body of the animal, not just the waste.
