Bought one of these last year and it seemed to do ok so I get ready to get it setup this year. I replace the 4 C batteries and nothing on the screen. Try more NEW Duracell and still nothing. I notice that the post on each side of the battery compartment look too recessed for the battery to touch? I take 4 screws out and see that both sides of these terminals had broken. I get some JB WELD (Sulphur Springs Texas) and fix this baby right! Wait an hour put batteries in and still nothing...Then I see the little compartment on the back that has the watch batteries. I drive an hour and back to Academy and put the new ones in. Still no display!
I don't have the box but any warrantee on these things at all?
I can tell you the backing on these terminal post is so small to nothing at all that if you havn't had them break be careful in cooler temps replacing batteries or they WILL!
