I'm not much for long novel articles so I'll make it short and sweet! First things first, I don't post much on here but I visit daily. So here goes...
I have a real good friend who was involed in a car acident about a month ago as a passenger and broke his neck. He is very lucky to have survived much less not be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He under went surgery and they repaired the (I have no clue) #? and # ? vertebre... He is at home now getting around and in therapy daily about to go stir crazy! He cannot pull his bow back and the Doctors say no guns (obviously on both)
I'm gonna get down to the nitty gritty now... He sent me a text message today: " I would do anything for a deer hunt! Do you know anyone with a crossbow?"
I was absolutely overwelmed by this because he is a BIG boy and not one to ask for anything but I felt the need to answer this one request of his during this time for him!
I have tried several of my buddies and have came up empty handed.
I am totally on the program of not loaning anything out.. especially my DXT
But this was my only other option to get this man a deer and or hog this season!
I am in Magnolia and i am planning on bringing him out to my buddies place in Navasota whenever we can get our hands on a crossbow.
I am willing to pay any shipping cost and send a check for the cost of any equiptment until it is retuned... I will purchase all of the arrows or ?bolts? on my own.
If anyone is willing to loan us a crossbow for a week or so it would be much appreciated!!
