Is it worth bringing a tripod?

I got drawn for the Dec 6-10th hunt at the chaparral and was wondering if I should even bother bringing my 10 ft tripod. I know the fire back in 2008 killed most of the tall, old mesquite; therfore, the tripod would leave me skylined. Anyone been out there this year?

Yeah, I am definitly bringing the pop up but was wondering if I should take the other one as well.

If it's no hassle to take it I'd rather be in the position of it just taking up space in the truck versus you wishing you had it.

yep, I would take it... you may find a spot for it... in some thick stuff.
