You can usually find plenty roadkilled skunks along the side of the roads. Just chunk one of them suckers in the bag with all your camo. If you want to go the easy route Academy usually carries it.

I was in Bass Pro today looking for it, I could smell it as soon as I entered the isle. Headed to Kansas Friday, looks like pretty good weather, will report back.

go skunk hunting then deer hunting. My dogs are the best skunk hunters ever and have the worst timeing. Always seem to find one as we are getting ready to leave.

I asked this same thing 2 weeks ago. I bought mine at Gibsons in Weatherford. I also heard they have at Texas Outdoors in Ft. Worth.

Just a quick thought, have you tried coon pee instead? It has worked better for me over the years when I used a cover scent. My concern over the skunk is that the only time you ever smell a skunk is if danger was around.
                        Good luck in Kansas.

I have never used skunk before but was reading a thread on here and it sounded like the best cover scent that you could use. Where we hunt in Kansas there are a lot of skunks so it should be a natural smell and I do not think it would alarm a deer at all, we shall see.

I don't use the skunk scent unless I have to. I keep it with me while bow hunting. If I see a deer that is about to go down wind, I will open the bottle. I don't pour any out. I just open it. Once the deer is clear of my wind, I will close the bottle. Don't pour it on your clothes.
