my bet is she had a pretty bad infection in her nasal cavity

2x - There are some type of bot-fly that gets into a deer's nasal cavity - freaks me out every time I see it (they crawl out a couple days after killing) - bet she had those and a related infection - either that, or a similar infection in her tear duct.
