Schoebel's in Columbus has a buttermilk creme pie that will make you slap yourself.

Salt Lick BBQ in Buda. All you can eat ribs, brisket, sausage, potato salad, beans, and fixins for $17pp....take cash, cause that's all they take.

The best greasy burger in Big D, is at the Hole-in-the-Wall, just off Harry Hines and Forest, a block from LBJ, 635. Small place, they quit selling beer when their liqueur license expired awhile back. Excellent fries too. Not healthy but darn good.

Lala's cafe in Mirando City. Order the super mexican plate add an exta puffy taco and ask for your plate sloppy, you won't be disappointed. Also, they have the best salsa I think I have ever had.
El Pariaso in Zapata. Order the Chicken fried steak with chili and cheese,YUM.
Liberty Cafe in Freer. Order the Stuffed chopped steak,simply amazing.
And finally, gone but not forgotten... Janet's FM 624 just outside of Callalen. This grease spoon joint had the best and biggest burgers ever....
