Big Time Texas Hunts

Does anyone know when they announce the drawing for those? Has anyone on here ever won one? If so, how was it?

me too. I applied, but have no idea when/how I'll find out if I was drawn. They aren't real forthcoming with the information. Right now it just says winners will be announced soon. When is soon? The deadline to enter was a week ago.

I'm pretty sure the drawings are on Nov.1. I've never won one. For the previous years, however many thye've been having the hunts, i've always take $100 worth of chances. No luck. This is the first year i've not tried. I've always heard good things about the experiences of the winners. Good luck to all.

I read somewhere they will contact winners within two weeks of deadline. I think they give time for people that mail entries. I do it every year but have never been picked.

What WMA or ranch did you take the whitetail at?

Muledeer - Puckett Ranch near Fort Stockton, Whitetail - Plaska Lodge Hall County, Pronghorn - McGuire Ranch Hudspeth County, Ram - Elephant Mountain.
Wasn't bow hunting back then. Could have used bows on all but the Bighorn. Most of my shot were pretty long. 400 yards on the goat, the whitetail was bedded down at 350 yards, he never got off the ground, the Bighorn was 175 yards, Muly was only 135 yards.
