    Cardiologist needed...

I have been taking meds for high blood pressure for almost a year now prescribed to be by a PA.

I want to start seeing a Cardiologist. I lost my Dad to heart disease in May of this year. Yesterday would have been his 72nd birthday. Me being 35, if he had taken care of his heart since he was 35, he might have met my first little girl which is due any time!

Does anyone know of a good Dr in the Rockwall/Plano/Mckinney area? I prefer Baylor.

You all may have to try different bp meds until you find the one (and the right dosage) that works for you. My dr. said "little to no side effects" but I got real depressed when I first started taking it. Switched brands/strengths and no more of that. It took trying several different kinds until we finally found one that works for me now. Good luck and don't be in denial if your blood pressure is consistently high. Get it treated.

man you guys make me feel good, i didnt start bp meds until i was 50... and yes there are a lot of bp meds out there,, i started on binocar,, brought the bp down,, also ate my stomach up like acid, started passin a little blood it was so bad,,, changed doctors and first one he put me on had a generic, which is ramapril,,, thank the good lord, it works great with no side effects, especially my stomach..been on it about a year and a half,

most allergy meds will cause your bp to go sky high,, that was the first thing the dr had me change,,, went to zyrtec, nothing else... bp came down and stays down,, been taking a zyrtec every day with my bp pill,, for me this was the right combo,,, even in my hi stress job as an leo, my bp rarely goes above 120/ 70 something....

just an fyi for you guys with allergy problems,, if you use zyrtec,, there is a generic,, been getting 100 count bottles for about $22... at a pharmacy no less!!,, not the $1 per pill everywere else

HEy man, I'm in Sulphur Springs, we have a new (to us) physician group here. Here is a link they have offices in Plano and other towns around. I have worked in the medical field for 16 years and this is by far the best group I have worked around. I wish my dad had used them over Baylor Dallas.
