My truck killed a hog tonight

Just had to share, I have been seeing hogs in the road heading in and out of a farmers GIANT wheat field every late afternoon. I was coming back from hunting this afternoon and saw one starting to cross the dirt road in front of me, I floored it and got him with my front passenger side tire. I backed up and hopped out as he was crawling away and put him out of his misery with my knife. Can't wait to tell the farmer next time I see him they are flooding into his field every night. Of course I didn't take a picture though

Must have been a small one or you would be having some damage

It was a smaller pig probably around 60-70lb range. It definitely made me happier after getting skunked deer hunting!

Nice. I almost bagged a squirrell this morning, but he was too fast.

I hit a 40# pig last year. It did about $2600 in damage to my Chevy Cobalt. Had I been in the truck there would have been a lot less damage.

Those can destroy a vehicle and even more in the wheat field. I am sure the farmer would like for you to mow down more with a weapon(s) during the night.

That reminds me of an old hunting story that was posted here once. There were tread marks in that hog.

                          Good driving.

I had to read it....i thought your truck killed the hog, had to make sure it was you facilitating the use of a truck to kill aforementioned hog. Good job, you've got more Cajones than me, I would be worried about it knocking the expensive ball joints out of my Dodge 2500.

i drive a single rear wheel dodge 3500, I actually think I might have a ball joint out already lol.

I hit him going about 35 maybe and the tire just rolled right over him, then I tried to back up over him but missed, and then jumped out and stuck him before he could get away

I really need to talk to the wheat field owner i lost his number, if I would have had permission to shoot them off his place I could have got at least 5 or 6 more. I know he has to spend a TON of money on that field.
