Leafy Suits vs Your Camo

I use a ASAT leafy top and face mask. I really like it.

X2 on the ASAT leafy. It will save you a ton on camo because you wear whatever you want under it, from shorts to insulated coveralls. I'm convinced it hides you better than regular camo - the deer look right through you. The ASAT brand is quiet. The only thing I add is a camo compression sleeve on my bow arm. (available at Cabela's)

I'm another fan of the leafy suits. I got mine from cabelas for around 40 bucks for the whole suit once winter started. I also have a thinner light colored one for really hot days. Have had deer within 5 yards of me and never look twice.

This time of year in Florida ...it`s got to be light,thin and airy. Period!

All my camo and leafy suit are in storage and have killed 2 does with just jeans and t-shirt and a hat. I am beginning to think that all my camo stuff is overrated and movement is the major key. I have had does look at me sitting in my tree and as long as I didn't move they did not care.

Wind and movement are the 2 most important factors for me. Just my 2 cents.

While I don't doubt that is true about the movement, that leafy suit or camo might be the difference when you do move.

I have had a deer look at me when I started to draw on it while in a leafy suit and still made the kill. I thought that I was busted. Did the suit help? I think so.

Sometimes I am sure that it was a waste because I would not likely have been busted anyway but at other times I think that it may have been the difference.

I bought the True Timber leafy suit from True Timber online for 65.00$ I love it,, mesh, so it's cool, not loud @ all, came with mask and mesh gloves that I cut the finger out of. Got to truetimber.com to see it. The only problem I will face is it's pretty green for when the leaves drop in the panhandle, but I sit on the ground the majority of the time and it will blend in with some yucca's that I kick up and stack around me..

depending on time of year, if leaves are still on the trees im in a leafy suit, if trees are bare im in reg camo... But like bearkat said the leafy is mesh so on them hot days, throw on some underoos and the leafy and hunt comfortable

i use leafy camo if im in a set that has lots of flora around...

mine was a BPS set, pants and jacket. I think bone collector edition or something

Just looked up the ones on Cabelas but all they had on sale was the Mossy Oak Break up which is way too dark for me...

iv been looking at those considering im hunting out of a tripod right now, i keep spending money on camo may as well get a good ground blind and be done, but i do use the leafy camo face net, and just realtree ap for pants and shirts and jacket

i love mine and dont bow hunt without them....i spot and stalked a young deer last year that i missed its location by about 20 yards....when he stood up i was completely standing uncovered and 10 yards from closest tree.....after a small stand off, he shook his head like he was seeing things and totally relaxed....without the extra break up i know i would have been busted

mine makes no noise and is very light weight, can be put over anything
