    Moisture eliminating socks

I recently bought a new pair of uninsulated rubber boots from Cabelas. I thought since the last pair was the cause for my feet sweating. Well....I was wrong! I guess my feet, as well as many other's feet, will sweat while wearing rubber boots. My question is this. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good, quality moisture whicking sock. I'm open to anything becuase I don't want to be caught in Kansas in November with wet socks. I've been there in Texas and it sucks. It will only be worse in Kansas!

What do y'all have for suggestions? What have you tried?

Cabelas has a good selection. My feet were dry last year in my rubber boots

I'd get the wicking sock liners and good wool hiking socks both from REI. Take good care if your feet. Avoid anything cotton.

There are several great kind of sock liners that keep your feet crazy dry. They even make wicking wool socks, which are my favorite. Anything but cotton, usually merino wool socks.

The sock liners will make a big difference also wool retains warmth even when wet, cotton will not.

Here's my experience. call me crazy!

I was at Bass pro in Pearland with the exact same issue as your having. I was talking to the young kid working there and come to find out he is a National Paintball Champion (so he said). He told me even in the hottest months he wears wicking plus a wool sock. He explained that they compete all day in army boots of some sort and that this was the only method keeping his feet dry.

I bought in to his rational and I am hooked. I bought the wicking socks (thin white ones) in bulk and also 2 different wool socks. One is a light weight for summer or warmer and a heavy set for colder temps. Since bow season I have had no issues with my feet sweating. The other thing was room for movement so your feet can breathe. I do not have a recommendation on exact brand names but I believe my wool socks were about 7.99 to 9.99 and the wicking were 3 or 4 bucks.

              Hope this helps.

Smartwool is the best I've found. I have 6 pair of Smartwool socks are they are awesome. Keeps you somewhat cool in the heat and warm in the cold.

Also try using scent free deorderant and rub it on your feet before you put your socks on.
