    Feeder or no feeder?

I've found a area on our family ranch that I plan to hunt next season as I've already taken a nice 10 this season. The area I found is wooded with some open spots here and there, but wooded all around. It has heavy trails everywhere in there and intersections of trails. This spot is way back in the woods and no open areas around it. This area hasn't been hunted in over 30 years. I've always hunted feeders and shot a 132" at my feeder this year so my first thought is to use a feeder, but I dont want to change in any way how great I think this spot can be. Over the years I've shot two 130's and one buck that went 145 here, but we have bigger bucks and thats what I'm after. This year was the first big buck I've shot at a feeder, but it always makes you feel better to see a lot of deer. I'm really thinking about just hunting the trails with no feeder. What would you do?

I'd put up a feeder and if you'd like to hunt trails, then you can still hunt the deer passing thru or on your way to a feeder. Feeders are about the cheapest part of hunting for me.

                I hunt both ways.

I get more satisfaction killing one on a well placed stand with out a feeder,

but seeing deer nearly ever time is hard to beat!
