That's exactly what made me buy my own land. Between the land owners that only cared about your money,the cows,the relatives hunting and land getting sold the lease game got old! You did the right thing by taking it all. Good luck on finding your next place.

Could be worse, one year we had ours start clear cutting the opening weekend of gun season. Drove the skidder right past a guy in a stand.
