now you are furthing reducing a primary food from impoverished countries so that we can develop less efficient fuels, that cause more money in repairs for gasoline burning vehicles, while causing even more instability in latin america countries, who depend on corn as a daily food source.

It will drive up the cost of OUR FOOD also. With more incentives to put every inch of arable land into corn production, it will also REDUCE the acreage in CRP and other land protection methods used by farmers and ranchers.

How's that helping the environment?

It has also been proven conclusively that ethanol INCREASES overall fuel consumption.
