I bought legs/winch/barrel with good lid(350 lbs) from him and then bought a custom motor unit/THE TIMER/6v battery/built in solar panel for under $400 TOTAL!!! you cannot beat that and it is the best feeder I have ever had. No issues in 3 months.

That is a pretty sweet deal. Do you have to buy a custom motor for all of his or will any motor work with it?

You can build your own feeder for around $ 115.00 and it will last forever. I have built all of mine and never had a problem.

Just bought a timer from Karl at Ultramatic.
He's a sponsor of this sight, so maybe try him first.
Gave me a deal for being a member.

Monarch, in Arlington, has a nice winch-up. I have been using their timers for years and like them. Not sure of the price www.deerfeeder.com.
