they say hunting and fishing is best when the sun is directly overhead and moon is directly beneath you or both the sun and moon are directly overhead or directly underneath you at the same time. as far as moon phase my belief is when you have a full moon at night it provides enough light for an animal to feed in the evening so it makes night fishing good and deer hunting bad.

I don't pay much attention to solunar tables except for a feel good... sort of like getting a horoscope that says you'll have a successful hunt.

Try this app called HuntCal. Really simple. Even lets u store pics of game in ur trophy room.

I have found full moon mid day hunting to be productive.

It has some merit to it. Iwent by it some last year and saw game in the middle of the day when the chart said conditions were best. But like mentioned before, it is kinda a feel good thing for me.
