A difference a year makes. East Texas Buck

If you notice the right back leg near the bottom you will see that this buck as some type of injury. It's obvious in each photo. The photos are a year apart and taken within a 1000 yards of each other. The real thing to notice is the amount of antler growth in one year.

If you let those small horn bucks walk you could have some of these walking around. These photos are taken on our lease outside Marshall Texas.

Having to re size these photos diminishes the quality somewhat. With the originals it is clear in both photos the injury to the back right leg.

I would say, and just a guess, that the difference is in the injury itself. Probably would have been a better deer last year if all those vitamins were going to that rack and not to his leg. Great deer.
