After 15 years of marriage to a non hunting spouse, I bought my wife a bow this weekend. May have been the slowest decision I have ever made. She absolutely loves it! Her response was "what took you so long?" My son (age 11) bow hunts with me. No luck as of yet but, lots of good times had by us both. Long story short, she kicked him out of the blind with me for the up coming weekend. Momma wants to go hunting. After watching her place 5 shot groups in a coke can at 30 yards, she's gonna give um a whack. Wish us luck. I hope the old adage "A family that hunts together, stays together," is true.
