Mary's Cafe in Strawn, TX. The best chicken fried steak around, worth the trip.

Perini's out in Buffalo Gap is good. In Abilene the best steak is probably Joe Allen's. For Mexican Food El Fenix on South 1st is good. Best Hamburger in Town is Gloria's Diner near the Court House. If you Like Chinese Food Schezuan on South 1st is absolutely the best and Ann Thai has very good Thai food. Shoot me a PM if you wanna go to lunch one day, or grab a beer after work.

Check out the WW2 museum downtown. Not sure about the hours but worth the $3 to go in.
