Thermacell Question

Does your thermacell smoke? I was in a ground blind and had one window open but there was very little wind. The smoke about choked me to death but I did not have any mosiquitos. Is this normal from these units?

My thermacell smokes but not constantly. Better smoke than bugs!!!

shouldnt smoke constantly for sure. Just a little every once in a while

They advise against using it in a confined space for a reason. It not only puts mosquitoes to sleep, but will put you to sleep too! It gives off toxic fumes to humans.

had to turn mine off saturday cause i got a little lite headed. no mosquitos.

smokes a little, but i dont put mine inside anymore. chokes me down.

It's completely normal for them to smoke a little, just shouldnt be constantly smoking.

Definitely don't put them in the blind with you, keep them just outside the blind!

Wonder if you inhale does it get in your system and run the skeeters off ?

I had to buy the thermascent unit instead of a thermacell lasrt year before a last minute hunt. I wonder if it is hotter or something. It smokes continuously. I will definateley put it outside next time.

I run mine as needed. When I first get in I run it then turn it off. That is usally all that is needed for a few hours.
