I have always wanted to learn to shoot a bow and try bow-hunting. Well this year I finally got the chance when I reconnected with an old friend and he gave me his old bow. That was this summer and I've been shooting a few times a week ever since and have really enjoyed it. This weekend I finally got the chance to go sit in a tree stand out on their place in Uvalde. I saw 2 doe and a lot of turkeys. One doe came into the feeder but when I went to draw I spooked her and she ran off. While I don't yet have meat on the ground I am definitely hooked on hunting with a bow. It is a truly different and wonderful experience and I can't wait for the next time I get a couple days off so I can go again.
