Crossbows - I have $400 total. What to get ?

I am wanting to get one - but have zero info on them.

You have any advice on brand + type that come w sight, and arrows for that price.

$400 is all I have.

Just for deer hunting.
Range - My stands are at 40 yds from stand.

someone at work has a Titan xbow for $400 with a few bolts... it might be Chunky
on here... PM him.. if not, it's someone in his area at work..

I'd move the feeder or blind closer, whichever is easier. 40 yards is stretching it/too far in my opinion.

A buddy of mine was telling me about a heckuva deal on a Barnett compound x-bow the other day. Bow, scope, bolts, broadheads, hardcase, etc... etc.... 1 year old. Supposed to shoot well over 300 fps, if not closer to 400 ! :0

He was thinking about buying it. I'll point him towards this thread in case he decides to pass on it.

U can get a barnett for that price and be effective up to that range, 30yds would be better though

for that price I would go with a barnett quad 400, or a carbon xpress x force.

try rem 700 with 150grn 30 06bolts for a little over 400 brand new and can move your stand out to 200yds

Barnett Quad 400. I have one and it can reduce the distance with great acuracy
